Curso completo de 20 horas
In the complete sailing course the learners will acquire a profound knowledge of the details which make the difference. You will see, feel and train the following tasks:
- preparing a sail boat for a trip
- helming securely in heavy wind conditions
- tying and using the proper knots for a variety of uses
- correct mantainment and treating of the materials used in sailing
- theoretic physical principles of how a sail boat works
- developing responsibility and the capability of recognizing possible hazards
- principles of first aid in water sports
Exam and certificate
At the end of the course you are welcome to demonstrate your acquired skills in a theoretical and practical exam. Once having passed the exam you will receive your certificate with your photo (we'll take care of the shooting and printing it). This certificate allows you to rent sail boats at Velago and proofs that you are one of the aficionados of this sport in Nicaragua. The exam is optional and for free as well as the certificate.
